There’s nothing like the rush of getting a shot where the lighting and the acting and the camera all align in one great filmic moment.
But a close second is when you’re editing and that “one great filmic moment” doesn’t actually fit, but you know what you have cut together is even better without it. Or maybe it’s when you’re working on the mix… or when you watch it with an audience of strangers… or… well, it’s all really great.
