“What does a producer do?” For me, producing is filmmaking. It’s finding the time or the money, foreseeing the problem or divining the solution. Seeing it through.
I bring my sensibility as a director to every project I produce, whether or not I’m calling “action”.
My producing approach is part-problem solver and part-creative advocate. I’ve been called the Rock of Gibraltar. Ha!
