I stumbled into documentaries as a career path and have found it to be extremely rewarding. When you’re making a doc, it’s alive and evolving and amorphous. Curated life.
Documentaries don’t need to follow convention. They can mix mediums, switch tones, and look you in the eye. Just as long as you tell a version of the truth.
