I am a Los Angeles based filmmaker, producer, and director of narrative and documentary projects.

I tell stories that are both human and extraordinary, crafted with authenticity.

My specialty is producing prestigious archival documentaries with cinematic scope.

Credits include The End of the World (Showtime), Victoria’s Secret: Angels & Demons (Hulu), The Reagans (Showtime), Where’s My Roy Cohn? (Sony Pictures Classics), Studio 54 (A&E), and Scotty & The Secret History of Hollywood (Greenwich Entertainment).

I’m currently producing a documentary about the world famous Chef Nobu Matsuhisa directed by Matt Tyrnauer while wrapping up post-production on the Alan Resnick and Robby Rackleff gonzo horror feature Dance Freak.

And I’ve just begun directing my first feature documentary, Ford Comes to Wichita.

I made my directorial debut with Pops, a short dramedy with a touch of the surreal. Producer David Parfit (Shakespeare in Love) described Pops as "weird and wonderful." The film garnered a 5 star rating from Short Films Matter and was nominated for several awards.

My follow up short film, ZERO ONE ZERO, was shot entirely on iPhone and won the “Best Mobile Film” award at the Indiefilmopolis Film Festival and an Honorable Mention at the African Smartphone Film Festival. It has played across the US and around the world in England, Japan, Australia and Nigeria.

The Housesitters, my third short film and second shot on iPhone, is a horror-comedy script penned by and starring Matt McConkey and Erin Pineda. It received accolades such as "Best Horror Comedy" and recognition for Matt and Erin’s outstanding performances.

In the wake of the divisive 2016 US Presidential Elections, I produced and hosted Straight White Guy Listening, a series of documentary interviews that foster honest conversations about contemporary, and sometimes uncomfortable, topics with an emphasis on empathy.

I’ve also directed and/or produced viral videos such the Journey “Separate Ways” Music Video Remake from 2014, Servers Read Mean Yelp Reviews, and Star Wars Standup Comedian.

My work has been showcased at Sundance, TIFF, Teluride, Tribeca, DocNYC, AFI, Hollyshorts, Dances with Films, Tallgrass, Taco Bell Film Festival (yes, that’s real) among many others.

I attended Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN where I studied Religion before changing my major to Theater and Film. To this day, I find a deep spiritual similarity in the cinema and the church.

I live in beautiful Eagle Rock, Los Angeles with my wife, Shauna, and our son [name redacted].
